Ergonomic accessories
Footrests, document holders, wrist supports and similar. Genuinely useful for the people who need them, and clutter for everyone else.
Issue on request
Buying these across a whole floor wastes money and fills drawers. Buy them per person, ideally off the back of a workplace assessment, and they get used.
Footrests are the exception
A footrest is the standard fix for a shorter user at a fixed-height desk: raise the chair so the arms are right, then support the feet. That combination is worth knowing, because the alternative is a chair set too low for the desk all day.
The common set-up problems
A screen too low is the most frequent, and a monitor arm fixes it. Next is a chair set low so the feet reach, which drops the arms below the desk: raise the chair and add a footrest instead.
Document holders matter for anyone typing from paper all day, because the alternative is a neck turned to one side for hours. That is a small purchase against a genuine long-term problem.
What we stock
Footrests, document holders and wrist supports, issued per person rather than across a floor. Most set-up problems are better solved with a monitor arm or a properly adjusted task chair, so start there and add these where they are genuinely needed.
