Height-adjustable desks
Sit-stand desks are worth it for people at a desk all day, and largely wasted on hot desks nobody owns. The benefit comes from changing position several times a day, which only happens if the desk is easy to move.
Electric, not crank
Manual crank desks reliably end up used as fixed desks within a fortnight. If a change of height takes thirty seconds of winding, people stop doing it, and you have paid for a mechanism nobody uses. Buy electric or buy a fixed desk.
Memory presets matter more than they sound: a button that returns to a known standing height removes the last bit of friction.
Practical points
Check the height range against the actual user, particularly at the low end for shorter users, where many desks stop too high. Plan the cables with slack for full travel, or the desk will unplug itself the first time it goes up. See cable management and electrical.
