Whiteboards and notice boards
Still earning their place in meeting rooms and project spaces, despite everything moving to screens.
Wall-mounted over mobile
Mobile boards get parked in a corner and stay there. Unless the room genuinely reconfigures, a wall-mounted board is cheaper, takes no floor space and gets used far more.
Size it to the room
A board too small to read from the back of the room is decoration. Stand where the furthest person sits before choosing, and remember that a projector or screen will want the same wall.
Surfaces
Painted steel boards take magnets and wipe clean for years. Melamine boards cost less and ghost over time, particularly if a permanent marker ever gets near them. For a board that will be used daily, the steel surface is worth the difference.
Notice boards want a surface that takes pins without falling apart. Felt over cork lasts longer than cork alone, and looks better after a year of drawing pins.
What we stock
Magnetic steel and melamine whiteboards plus felt and cork notice boards, in wall-mounted and mobile versions. Wall-mounted gets used far more. Size it from the back of the room, and remember the same wall is usually wanted for a screen in meeting rooms.
