Reception tables and seating
Seating and tables for waiting areas. The requirement is different from a meeting room: comfort for a short wait, and a surface within reach.
Getting the pairing right
A table should sit at or slightly below the seat height of the chairs around it. Too low and nobody can reach it without leaning forward, which is the usual reason a reception table goes unused.
Round tables with a weighted base are the safer choice in a waiting area: no corners at knee height and nothing to catch a bag on.
