Stacking chairs earn their keep in rooms that change use: training one day, an all-hands the next, empty the rest of the week.
Check the stack height before you buy
A chair that stacks eight high needs somewhere to stand two and a half metres tall. If your storage is a cupboard, a chair that stacks four high in two shorter stacks is the more useful chair, even if the specification looks worse.
Trolleys are worth it above about twenty chairs. Moving them by hand is how frames get bent.
Comfort within reason
These are not chairs for a full day, and specifying them as though they are wastes money. If a room hosts long training sessions, a padded seat is worth it. For a monthly meeting, it is not.
Ranges we stock
Stacking models run alongside the wider visitor and conference range, and trolleys are worth ordering above about twenty chairs. For canteens and breakout rooms, café and bistro seating is usually the more comfortable choice.
